What does Cherry MX Blue sound like?

In Keysloom, the MX Blue profile is tuned around a crisp high-frequency click followed by a lighter bottom-out. Compared with a linear switch, the click event is much more obvious; compared with a softer tactile switch such as MX Brown, it has a sharper and more percussive sound signature. Desk surface, case, plate and keycaps still change the final sound of a real keyboard, so this profile should be treated as a useful reference rather than a universal recording.

MX Blue vs tactile and linear switches

Choose MX Blue when you want audible feedback and a clearly defined click on each keypress. If you prefer tactile feedback without the extra click, compare it with MX Brown. If you want a smoother, heavier sound without a click event, try MX Black instead.
